For early BMW models requiring Double K-Line communication – including vehicles such as E39, E46, E38 and E53 – a separate adapter is required.

The Double K-Line Adapter is already included with every Expert K+DCAN Cable purchased from Bimmer-Connect.com.

Simply connect the supplied adapter between the vehicle and the Expert Cable when Double K-Line communication is required.
